WELCOME
TO MEPIELAN
The Mediterranean Programme for International Environmental Law
and Negotiation (MEPIELAN) is an international programme, under
the aegis of the Panteion University of Athens, and it is supported
by the Mediterranean Action Plan / United Nations Environment Programme
(MAP/UNEP) and the Hellenic Ministry for the Environment, Physical
Planning and Public Works.
MEPIELAN aims at promoting education,
research, training, public awareness and information in the fields
of international environmental law, sustainable development and
negotiation in relation to the Mediterranean region, thus fostering
an integrated approach to environmental governance regimes in the
Mediterranean area.
